Do you like helping others? Interested in making a difference? Join the MIND club! MIND club’s goal is to create, implement events and activities that help keep the MIND healthy.
MIND club meets on Mondays during lunch in room L41 next to the career center look for the mind club poster!

MIND Club Potluck is today, October 26th, all club presidents and vice-presidents are encouraged to come to our potluck and bring information pertaining to your club!

Attention Titans! This week is kindness week so keep an eye out for random acts of kindness and support by bringing extra Titan spirit and positivity all next week.

The annual National Honors Society talent show auditions are this week! They will be held right after school on Tuesday the 27th and Wednesday the 28th in Mr. Traughber’s room A208. Tryouts will begin at 3:00 PM. Please be sure to bring all equipment/ props necessary to perform your talent!

Attention Students – Pink shirts are for sale for $10 – limited quantity available so get yours quick. We are doing something different this year and joining forces with Bella Vista High School in a joint effort to have everyone in the stadium wear pink and raise funds through donations at that game. This will be a fun contest of who has the most pink in their stands and well as funds raise! Let’s make sure our side is a sea of pink!

DRAMA SHOW Tonight through Saturday! 7 PM in CTE5 for $5 Please come enjoy an evening of entertainment by the Antelope High School Drama Department! Support your peers while they take the stage in a variety of acts! Tickets available in the student services. See Ms. Carroll with your $5.

The Horatio Alger Association is offering hundreds of scholarships that range in value from $1,000-$22,000! They are given on the national, state, school specific and major specific level. Don’t miss out on applying! You must have financial need, at least a 2.0, be a graduating senior, have overcome a personal adversity, be a US Citizen, and be planning to earn a Bachelor’s Degree as your educational goal. The KCRA3 Canned Food Drive will be held from October 23rd through November 13th. Boxes will be placed in 1st period classes and all non-perishable food items will be accepted. The class that brings in the most nonperishable food items will win a doughnut party. A separate competition will be held on Thursday, November 19th which will be called “Can Castles” in which all clubs will be entered to build a “castle” out of donated cans that the club will bring in. The building will take place during intervention, and the judging will take place during lunch. The winning club will be granted a pizza party. Make sure to support for a good cause!

Anyone interested in playing softball in the spring, please attend an informational meeting tomorrow in room S204. The meeting will start promptly at 2:45. We will be discussing fall ball and other fun stuff! If you cannot attend the meeting please see Coach Wallace in S204.

Starting September 1st listen for the Question of the Week in the Bulletin. Answer the question correctly on Naviance and you could win a $5 Starbucks card each week! The question will be on a different day each week so you never know when it will be in the bulletin. This year, the Roseville Joint Union High School District is paying for all sophomoresto take the PSAT. This test is very important for juniors as qualifying scores may lead to a National Merit Scholarship. If you are a freshmen or junior wishing to take the PSAT, you must sign-up and pay for the exam at our finance window or you may pay online through the student store. The cost of the test is $25.00. Again, if you are a sophomore, the district is paying for your test and there is no need to sign up. Please know the deadline to sign up is September 18th for freshmen and junior and there will be no late sign- ups for any reason. All students will take the exam on Wednesday October 28th at Antelope High School.

Attention Seniors of 2016! Make sure you take your senior portraits at Prestige Portraits studio in either Elk Grove or Citrus Heights by Oct. 1. Failure to do so may result in your senior portrait not appearing in the yearbook. So don’t hesitate and visit their website at http://www.prestigeportraits.com to book an appointment! Do it today.
