All Students that are interested in Playing Football in the 2016-2017 Season that are not in one of our 4 daily lifting classes and not playing a sport at ANHS will need to report to the weight room for OSP.  TODAY at 3:00-4:00 & every M-TH that school is in session for the rest of the year. Roll will be taken. Anyone that is either not lifting in one of our classes or playing a sport will not be allowed to play football if they do not get there OSP hours in. Hello Titans do you have a crush on someone or simply want to send a treat to a friend? TODAY during both lunches on the inside stage ‘crush grams’ will be sold for $1.50 to stay anonymous or $1.00 for it not to be. For further information go to the student store during both lunches in the cafeteria!

BAND FUNDRAISER TODAY! It’s being hosted by The Habit Burger Grill, and if you show up with a flyer the band gets a portion of the money you spend.

BOYS GOLF TODAY at Woodcreek Golf Course at 3:30 meeting followed by practice for those cleared.

At the largest High School Theater Festival in California, Antelope High School took home the GOLD for Best Production and for Best Original Script! There were 60 high schools, 50 one act plays & 1100 students.

Highlights:

In the last tournament before the Qualifying Tournaments and the “postseason” begins, the AHS Speech team had a terrific day at Granite Bay HS. Three of the six finalists in National Extemporaneous Speaking were Titans. A special congrats goes out to Jack Yanos who took first place in both his National Extemp. and Original Oratory events.
Next up will be the qualifying tournaments for two different state or national tournaments. Wish your fellow Titans luck!

 

Do you love water and enjoy flipping around? Diving season begins soon. Our first practice will be Monday February 8th @ 6pm at the Oakmont Pool. Please make sure you have all the necessary paperwork turned in and are cleared for sports. Highlights:

Join the Boys Tennis Team! Informational meeting with Coach Mark on Wednesday, January 20th, in the Computer Lab at 3 PM. Bring a friend and earn a prize.

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity Wrestling Team for winning the Argonaut Lion’s Club Wrestling Tournament. Dominic Van Damme was named Outstanding Wrestler for the Tournament.

Congrats to Jack Yanos and Kiran Khalid for their semi-final and final round appearances at the prestigious Stanford Invitational for Speech and Debate. With students from 22 different states and four other nations, these two Titans each earned one of the top spots in one of the most difficult competitions of the year.
Join us on Thursday in room L201 for some stories, snacks and preparation for this coming weekend’s NCFL Qualifying tournament at Rosemont HS.
Do you want to earn some cash or scholarship money for yourself? All Titans are eligible to enter either the Lion’s Club or Rotary Club speech competition. The time is now! Go see Parris in room L201 for your shot at some cash and scholarship monies!

Girls Soccer Conditioning will be after school Monday-Thursday on the football field.

Softball is conditioning after school. We meet in weight room on Tues and Thurs and at the track on Wednesday.
