Attention Titans! This week is kindness week so keep an eye out for random acts of kindness and support by bringing extra Titan spirit and positivity all next week. There will be a table next to the student store today during 2nd lunch for people to write kind notes to each other! Go out and give a compliment #ahskindnessweek

Tonight is the pink out Varsity Football game with Bella Vista. Please wear pink to the game and spread the word as we’ll be having a few friendly competitions for a great cause. Which side wears the most pink? Who collects the most donations!

Tomorrow, on Halloween come enjoy a fun carnival, a scary haunted house and a special performance by some cheer, dance, student gov and football players in a remake of Thriller! This Saturday from 12-3pm!

Hey seniors, just a reminder that Senior Ads in the yearbook are still on sale! Remind your parents and make sure yours is purchased before Monday. Thank You.

The FINAL, FINAL, FINAL date to turn in your senior quotes is Tuesday. Make sure you turn yours in if you want your quote to appear in the yearbook.

Attention Students – Pink shirts are for sale for $10 – today is the last day to purchase! We are doing something different this year and joining forces with Bella Vista High School in a joint effort to have everyone in the stadium wear pink and raise funds through donations at that game. This will be a fun contest of who has the most pink in their stands and well as funds raise! Let’s make sure our side is a sea of pink!

Highlights:

If you are taking the PSAT, make sure to get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast before the test – there will not be many breaks. Remember, ALL sophomores are taking the test, as well as any freshmen and juniors who signed up and paid. You are allowed to bring a calculator for the math section – you may not use the calculator on your phone or another device, it must be a standalone calculator. See Ms. Goudy or Mr. Smith with any questions.
Please be in your testing location by 7:45 AM at the latest on Wednesday, October 28th. Here are the testing locations:

The annual National Honors Society talent show auditions are this week! They will be held right after school on Tuesday the 27th and Wednesday the 28th in Mr. Traughber’s room A208. Tryouts will begin at 3:00 PM. Please be sure to bring all equipment/ props necessary to perform your talent!

DRAMA SHOW Tonight through Saturday! 7 PM in CTE5 for $5 Please come enjoy an evening of entertainment by the Antelope High School Drama Department! Support your peers while they take the stage in a variety of acts! Tickets available in the student services. See Ms. Carroll with your $5.

The Horatio Alger Association is offering hundreds of scholarships that range in value from $1,000-$22,000! They are given on the national, state, school specific and major specific level. Don’t miss out on applying! You must have financial need, at least a 2.0, be a graduating senior, have overcome a personal adversity, be a US Citizen, and be planning to earn a Bachelor’s Degree as your educational goal. The KCRA3 Canned Food Drive will be held from October 23rd through November 13th. Boxes will be placed in 1st period classes and all non-perishable food items will be accepted. The class that brings in the most nonperishable food items will win a doughnut party. A separate competition will be held on Thursday, November 19th which will be called “Can Castles” in which all clubs will be entered to build a “castle” out of donated cans that the club will bring in. The building will take place during intervention, and the judging will take place during lunch. The winning club will be granted a pizza party. Make sure to support for a good cause!
