Congrats to the Speech and Debate team for their performances at the qualifying tournament for one of the two national leagues in which Antelope HS competes. Jack Yanos qualified to attend the Grand National Tournament for both Original Oratory and Extemporaneous speaking! Other Titans who performed quite well include Alana Cox, Tyler Anderson, Kim Weaver, and Karam Singh.
Next Saturday’s tournament is at GBHS. Swing by L201 to look at the current sign-ups or just join us at the meeting on Thursday after school.
Are you in need of some community service hours and a fluent speaker in another language? Come out to this Thursday’s meeting in Mrs. Cook’s room (counselor) to find out more about the upcoming school events where fluent speakers will be needed. Contact Ludmila Nicov or Mrs. Cook for any more information.
Congratulations to Sara Bergeron, Alissa Fowler, Jane Miller, Nancy Nguyen, and Belma Ikanovic who were selected to interview for Girls State by our staff for their outstanding character and ability to succeed! Sara Bergeron was selected to represent Antelope this summer at the Girls State Conference. We know she will represent us well! Congratulate her if you see her around!
